Welcome to CM Videos Insider Group

I wanted to welcome you the the CM Videos Insider Group. This is a community of computational modelling experts and enthusiasts under the CM Videos family. I will be using this group to:

  1. Engage with the community at a persona level so that you can reach me and ask me questions about your modelling challenges
  2. Inform you about developments here at CM Videos,
  3. Share behind the scene videos about my personal computational modelling journey and video making efforts
  4. Announce new digital products and offer special discounts on such new products, as well as
  5. Offer you opportunities for special training sessions on aspects of computational modelling and finally,
  6. Host live Question and Answer streaming sessions where I can interact with the community.

New Digital Product Announcement (PBCGenLite v1.0)

I wanted to just announce to you that CM Videos has released a digital product titled PBCGenLite v1.0 to help you with your imposing periodic boundary conditions to 2D RVEs with periodic meshes.

This is a resource that has been greatly requested by the members in the community. I have made three videos to support you with this with regular feedback from the community about how useful those contents are.

I am offering a discount of 50% to the software for the first 20 purchases and wanted this information communicated to my CM Videos insider group so that if you do need such software, then you can get hold of it as soon as possible.

Current plans I am working on.

I am also planning further support to the Insider Group designed to continue to help you with your computational modelling challenges. Some of the plans that I am working on are:

  1. Creating a website so that the community and CM Videos will have a central resource where everyone can visit and feel part of the community. I already secured the domain name: www.cmvideos.org but now working on developing the site.
  2. Producing further digital products to aid you with the current computational modelling challenges. Some of the ideas are: (a) Monte Carlo RVE Generator and (b) Full version of the PBCGen Code. I know some of you have asked for specific software and I will be working on that with every urgency to ensure you get the help you need.
  3. I am also writing a CM Videos E-book which I hope to provide some further discribe more about the computational modelling journey and how best to support you throughout the journey.
